Since starting operation in 2009, Aurora Rock Quarry has become well-known for its production of high-quality granite for valued customers throughout the northwest region and its environs.

Located in Mfumju Mankon, Aurora Rock Quarry is managed by a team of quarry professionals who bring a wealth of in-depth experience to the market.

Aurora’s entire operation was designed from the ground up for high-volume production. In a continuous cycle, granite is carefully drilled and blasted, then excavated by a cat excavator 235 hoisting a 2m3 bucket. The material is loaded into high-capacity Mercedes off-highway rear-dump trucks and hauled to the crushing plant, where construction-certified aggregates and a range of fine screenings are processed. Finally, Aurora’s high-capacity CAT loader quickly and efficiently loads customers for fast and efficient customer service.
